Why are you called TAL Cartel?
Essentially, because we prefer to focus on making good stuff, not dwelling on what something should be called.
As for "Cartel", we use the word's historical definition: "a coalition or cooperative arrangement between political parties intended to promote a mutual interest". We're obviously independent creators, not political parties, but you get the idea.
Can you tell me about your stats?
Our newsletters go out to 16,000+ weekly subscribers and the emails have an average open rate of 60% and CTR of 2-7%. We don’t share click-through data, but you’re welcome to use your own tracking link when you place an ad.
Is it possible to split an ad package – i.e. can I place an ad in just one of the newsletters?
No, this is not possible. We are independent creators who offer newsletter ads as a collective only.
We’ve carefully developed a process that allows us to make the best use of our time and resources. You can think of us like a joint media company or boutique advertising agency.
Can you tell me about your audience?
We reach 16,000+ curious readers every week. Our global audience truly touches every corner of the world, though around 80% of our readers are based in the UK, European Union or United States.
Our subscribers are freelancers, independent workers, business leaders and side hustlers interested in technology, creativity, digital culture, travel, remote work, and career development. Roles include tech founders, department heads, entrepreneurs, journalists, authors, marketers, researchers, remote leaders, and policymakers.
